 Connect using the RS485 data cable with RJ45 plug;

Connection cables between the inverters are supplied with the invert-

ers. Use these.

 Where to connect: RJ45 socket on the outside of the inverter

Procedure

1 Insert the RJ45 plug into the free RJ45 socket on inverter 1.

2 Insert the other end of the wire into any RJ45 socket on inverter 2.

3 Connect the other inverters to each other in the same way.

4 Terminate in the last inverter:

Insert the connection plug into the free RJ45 socket.

Allocating communication address

 Recommendation: Continuous numbering starting with 1.

 Setting: Using the rotating switch on the inverter interface card.

 Procedure: As set out in the inverter's instructions

 Interface not integrated. Retrofit RS485 interface card.

 4 pin wiring

 Communication address must be allocated.

• Allocate communication address

• Switch off the inverters and the SolarLog™;  Page 17

• Install the RS485 interface in the inverter

• Connect inverters to the Solar-Log™

• Connect the inverters to each other
