2.3.4.Model , base and pedestal

• Place the heat pump on a solid surface, which preferably consists of a concrete base, concrete

footing or paving

• It is not advisable to place the heat pumps on larger areas – e.g. parking lots, pavements - as these

do not muffle noise well.

• Install the heat pump at least 0,3 m above the surface.

• The free space between the heat pump and the surface should be at least 0,2m high to prevent

connection between the heat pump and the surface of the base in instances when ice is created.
